Based on a true story, Song Sung Blue follows Mike and Claire Sardina (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson), two down-on-their-luck, middle-aged musicians in Milwaukee. Struggling with personal baggage and career setbacks, they find love and success forming a Neil Diamond tribute band named “Lightning & Thunder”. Their journey takes them from dive bars to opening for Pearl Jam, before personal tragedy and a life-altering accident threaten to destroy their bond. The musical drama highlights their resilience and enduring love through music, proving it is never too late for a second chance.
