The Corn Exchange kitchen can be hired by you either to provide your own refreshments, or for use by a professional caterer.
The Corn Exchange kitchen is situated to the rear of the main Charter Hall with an optional serving hatch which can be curtained off from the main hall. In and out swing doors provide for service at formal catered functions.
The kitchen is equipped to a professional standard, incorporating two 6-burner industrial gas hobs and ovens, a double fridge and freezer, hot cupboards, worktops and a commercial pass-through dishwasher.
Crockery/cutlery is provided for 120 – although cooking and serving dishes and utensils are not included.
For dining events, we can provide round tables, each suitable for up to eight people. The Charter Hall can accommodate a maximum of 15 round tables (120 people).
For smaller events, water boilers are located in the kitchen and also in the Charter Hall and ACE Suite serveries, allowing users to make their own teas and coffees. These areas are also equipped with fridges and washing-up facilities.
Whether your event is large or small, whether you wish to provide the food yourself or arrange a caterer, the Corn Exchange can provide the ideal solution for every catering requirement. We can also provide you with a list of local caterers with the necessary certification.
